Winter Break Food Support

Post date: Wednesday, December 20, 2023

The long holidays like winter break can be challenging for families facing financial difficulties, as there are no school lunches during this time.

At Food Bank Azabu, we aimed to ensure that families with children could welcome the winter break with peace of mind and enjoy a festive Christmas. Through Takanawa Food Pantry, we delivered food and snacks to approximately 30 households with children.

We were able to provide 2kg of rice to each of the 30 households, in addition to the rice generously donated by someone from Niigata Prefecture and the donations from All Japan Relocation employees.

For the food and snacks, we packed items donated by Nishimoto Co.,Ltd. and contributions brought in by All Japan Relocation employees. We also received many surplus food items from year-end gifts, and our team of employees collaborated to sort and transport them.

We sincerely hope that those who received the support can spend the winter break with peace of mind and find joy in the assistance provided.
