Food Support May-June: Delivered Food to Needy Families in Minato-ku
From May to June, we provided food supplies to households in need within Minato City, as well as to organizations supporting homeless individuals and groups helping people experiencing homelessness regain independence. We are deeply grateful for the warm donations we have received from individuals and companies in the community.
We share our heartfelt thanks for your support and updates on our daily activities through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If you have any surplus food items at home or in your workplace, we would greatly appreciate your continued cooperation.
Support for Homeless Organizations
We participated as volunteers in a food distribution event held by Grama Seva Japan, an organization that supports homeless people in Yoyogi Park.
During the Golden Week holidays, we also prepared about 300 rice balls, which we distributed through the food distribution event organized by Nanairo. At the end of May, we prepared another 70 rice balls and delivered them to people in need at the same distribution event.
Other Support and Donations
St. Alban’s Church kindly provided miso soup, and we have also received generous donations of baby food and other items from local companies and individuals in Minato-ku. We continue to deliver food to the Minato Kodomo Shokudo to support local children in need.
